Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-06-07
These terms govern your use of Inbox Vital, an email-deliverability monitor. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Inbox Vital analyzes a domain’s public email-authentication DNS — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, and BIMI — computes a health score, and layers an automated diagnosis to explain the findings. Paid plans add ongoing monitoring: daily re-scans with break-alerts and digest emails, plus ingestion of DMARC aggregate reports routed to a per-domain address we generate for you.
The scanner reads data that is already published publicly in DNS. It does not send email on your behalf, access your mailboxes, or modify your DNS records.
Accounts
Sign-in is passwordless: you authenticate with a one-time code or a magic link sent to your email address. There are no passwords. You are responsible for the email inbox you sign in with — anyone with access to it can access your account.
Accounts belong to workspaces (organizations). Members of a workspace can see and act on that workspace’s domains and reports according to their role.
Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Card details are entered with and handled by Stripe — we do not see or store your full card number.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Inbox Vital only for lawful purposes. You must:
- only scan or monitor domains you own or are authorized to assess;
- not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
- not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or its output as your own; and
- not bulk-scrape, automate against, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service beyond its intended use.
Warranty & liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Health scores, diagnoses, and alerts are guidance to help you understand your email-authentication posture — they are not a guarantee of deliverability, inbox placement, or security. You remain responsible for your own DNS and email configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inbox Vital is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on a score, diagnosis, or alert. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Intellectual property
We own the service and everything we generate to run it, including health scores, diagnoses, and aggregated or anonymized data. You own the inputs you provide — your domains and any reports you upload — and you grant us the license needed to process them so we can provide the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Inbox Vital harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your scanning or monitoring of any domain you do not own or are not authorized to assess.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Inbox Vital. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Who you contract with & governing law
The service is operated by [ENTITY], [ADDRESS]. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. You may not assign them without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, and a failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
